Silver Lining Home Health Care deploys literally
thousands of health care providers to homes throughout the Delaware
Valley.
For many years their entire business ran on an Microsoft Access database
that was created at a time when the company’s IT needs were modest.
They were providing remote access to the database via remote control
software and a bank of modems. The whole system was awkward, slow, costly,
and unreliable.
Oaks|Design redesigned the Access database for SQL Server 2000 and rewrote
the Access forms and reports as ASP.NET pages that can be securely accessed
from any browser.
